The 2025 Porsche Sprint Challenge GB burst into life at Donington Park with a weekend that could hardly have gone better for Toby Trice. With two dominant wins and a top five finish, Trice kicked off his campaign in emphatic fashion, leaving Donington leading the championship and full of confidence.

Qualifying set the tone for what would become an intense and closely fought weekend. In a session where hundredths of a second made all the difference, Trice clocked a time good enough for P3, just 0.158 seconds shy of pole. “Qualifying was incredibly close,” he reflected. “We knew the pace was in the car, I just didn’t quite nail the final chicane and that’s probably what cost me pole.” Even so, it was a strong place to start the season opener.

Race one proved to be a real challenge. Involved in several elbows-out battles, Trice picked up minor damage that cost him pace and positions, resulting in a P4 finish that didn’t reflect the true potential of the weekend. But with Sunday came redemption—and then some.

Race two delivered one of the standout moments of his career so far. Locked in a thrilling battle with Tom Bradshaw, the pair went wheel-to-wheel in a fight that could’ve gone either way. “Bradshaw and I had a proper decent battle for the win,” said Trice. “It really could have been either of us taking the flag—it was one of my best races yet.” When the dust settled, it was Trice who came out on top, showing real racecraft, confidence, and composure.

Momentum carried straight into race three, where Trice executed a flawless lights-to-flag victory. Starting from pole, he immediately built a gap to P2 and managed the race from the front with control. “This race filled me with confidence,” he said. “A textbook win and a huge relief to repay the team’s hard work with two outright wins.”

That team effort was a key part of the success. The car felt dialled in from the very first session thanks to the hard graft from Clean Racing. “The car was absolutely faultless all weekend,” said Trice. “Peter Sieber and I have been working really closely to extract every bit of performance, and it felt like we nailed it for Donington.”

Pete Kyle-Henney of Clean Racing echoed that pride, saying, “A sensational performance from the drivers and the team this weekend. Toby and Matt delivered some of the best driving we have seen in the championship and secured 5 out of 6 wins between them. Clean Racing leads the Pro, Am and team championships. All the winter preparation and professionalism within the team was well rewarded and provided a memorable weekend for all our sponsors.”

There was more to celebrate away from the cockpit too. Partner Fenix Freight brought a group of guests to the track, enjoying an all-access experience with breakfast meet and greets, a lunchtime Q&A, and a garage tour. “The icing on the cake was seeing them all go wild on the balcony after each of Sunday’s wins,” Trice laughed. “They were buzzing—I think they had a brilliant time!”

Michael Close from LogixX Pharma added, “What an exhilarating comeback to the 1st weekend of the Porsche GB Sprint Challenge 2025 season and Racing for Fertility campaign. Toby has tested well, tuned in and was firing on all cylinders, picking up two 1st podiums over the weekend. The Clean Racing team have done a fabulous job over the winter getting the cars and drivers prepped, and it’s testament to 5 out of 6 podium finishes for both drivers in the Pro and Am RS categories. Testhim and LogixX Pharma could not have asked for a better weekend—and the pictures speak for themselves. PROUD!!!”

True to form, Trice also continued to champion his Racing for Fertility campaign throughout the weekend. Alongside partners Testhim, he spoke with couples going through fertility treatment and used the paddock as a place for connection and open discussion. “It means the world to be able to support people like that in an environment where they might least expect it. It’s emotional, but so rewarding.”

Reflecting on the weekend, Trice is taking away more than just trophies. “This championship is incredibly close at the top,” he noted. “We’ve got the minerals for success, but we can’t rest on this—we have to keep pushing. I’m massively proud of how we started, and I believe this is just the beginning.”

He closed the weekend with heartfelt thanks to the partners who made it all possible. “A huge thank you to all our partners—I hope you had an amazing time. Massive appreciation to Clean Racing. And to the fans… what a weekend! I hope you enjoyed the show as much as I did. Let’s keep this momentum rolling and I’ll see you all at Brands Hatch.”
